Our Key Areas of Work and Focus Programs

Momentum Selaras Indonesia is committed to improving the quality of life for communities through an integrated approach that includes strengthening health services, policy reform, good governance, and enhancing the resilience of health systems in times of crisis.

To achieve this, Momentum Selaras Indonesia has identified four key focus areas that serve as the foundation of its work and strategic direction

  1. Clinical Services and Competency Strengthening

  2. Health Policy and Advocacy

  3. Organizational Management and Governance

  4. Integration of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Adaptation into Health Systems

Partnership Development

We build collaborations with organizations to amplify health impact and optimize resources for sustainability.

Resource Optimization

Supporting partners in effective resource management for impactful health and social development initiatives.

Public Awareness
Community Engagement

Raising public awareness is a core strategy to empower communities with knowledge, shift behaviors, and drive demand for better health and social outcomes. Through targeted campaigns, educational materials, community engagement, and digital platforms, we aim to inform individuals about critical health issues, available services, and their rights. By increasing awareness, we support communities in making informed decisions and becoming active participants in their own well-being and development.

Community engagement is at the heart of our approach to sustainable development. We work closely with communities to ensure their voices, needs, and local knowledge shape the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs. By fostering trust, inclusivity, and participation, we empower individuals and groups to take active roles in improving health, governance, and social resilience. This collaborative approach strengthens ownership, enhances relevance, and drives long-term impact at the grassroots level.

Health Initiatives

We enhance healthcare quality and access for vulnerable communities.

Clinical Services and Competency Strengthening

We support the improvement of community-level clinical services by enhancing the competencies of health workers through needs-based training, mentorship, and practical tools. Our approach ensures quality, equity, and sustainability in health service delivery—particularly in maternal, newborn, and child health

Health Policy and Advocacy

We engage in evidence-based advocacy to influence health policies that are inclusive, equitable, and community-responsive. By working with policymakers, civil society, and health professionals, we help shape a supportive environment for sustainable health systems reform.

Organizational Management and Governance

We strengthen organizational systems by enhancing leadership, accountability, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. Our support enables partners—especially local organizations—to grow their institutional capacity and deliver high-impact programs with transparency and resilience.

Integration of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Adaptation into Health Systems

We promote the integration of disaster preparedness and climate resilience into health system planning and service delivery. Our efforts help ensure that health systems are better equipped to anticipate, withstand, and respond to crises—protecting vulnerable populations in the face of environmental and climate-related risks.
